Chapter 7 of Steve Jobs

Steve was living in a cabin the summer he graduated from high school. Steve went to India in 1974 and came back in the same year. Calhoun told Steve that he was disconnected from the situation. Jobs tried to convince Calhoun to work for apple while he was working at another job. Jobs was so busy he did not want to be interrupted with anything.

Chapter 6 Steve Jobs: Apple II

In chapter 6 they talk about the Apple II. The Apple II is similar to the Apple I but the Apple II is more powerful than the Apple I. The Apple II looks like a regular computer. Jobs was hoping to take everyone to the next level of Apple computers. Steve was excited to see that his computer was in the process of being built and then in the stores being sold. Steve's really looking toward the new apple computer being put on the market.

Chapter 5 of Steve Jobs: The Apple I

In chapter 5 of the book Steve jobs it is mainly about the new technology that is coming out in the 1990s. In the 1990s the new technology that was coming out was video games, and new computers. the computer company HP did not confirm there new model. Apple made its first phase ¨Turn on, boot up, jack in¨. In 1990 the homebrew computer club was created. Apple´s first computer was called the Apple I. The Apple I looked like a typewriter but it was not. This part of the book is going to be interesting to me because now I am learning how Apple Inc. got its name and why many different people trust them so much.

Steve Jobs Chapter 4

In chapter 4 it talks about how Jobs started his own business and takes a loan of $50,000. Jobs spent a few months thinking of a name for his business. After he named his business apple he was searching for people to work with him. He found one person to co-own apple but he needed some training. I think that Jobs will find someone else to take his place and find some other people that want to work for him.

In chapter 3 of Steve Jobs it talks about how he drops out high school. 17 years later his parents pledged that they would adopt him.

Chapter 2 of "Steve Jobs"

In chapter 2 of the book "Steve Jobs". It talks about how Steve became friends with a graduate and a teacher's favorite. Paul was a high school drop out, but he knew how to fix up cars. Paul told Steve that he believed in honesty and that was it. In Steve's senor year of high school he built an electrical metronome that sounded like a bomb. Steve was sent to the office to have a talk to the police on what he did. Steve provided himself into becoming a hardware engineer.

Chapter 1 of the book "Steve Jobs"

In the first chapter of the book "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaac, it talks about Steve's dad Paul Jobs. Paul Jobs was in the Coast Guard after World War II. The Jobs family moved to San Francisco on a ship that was decommissioned. Paul was deployed on the USS General M.C. Meigs. Steve knew at an early age that he was adopted. Steve's parents were very open to his ideas.





 

MLB Division Standings as of 5/11/17

So far in the MLB almost every team has played a total of 31 games. You have a total of 3 divisions and 15 teams in the American and the National League total if 30 teams. The difference between the American and National League is the American League has the DH(Designated Hitter) rule which means the pitcher does not swing the bat at the plate. In the National League the pitchers must swing the bat and try to help the team to win.

In the AL East you have the New York Yankees in 1st with a record of 21-10 and a percentage of .667. Following the Yankees you have the Baltimore Orioles with a record of 22-11 with the same winning percentage as the Yankees. In 3rd place in the AL East is the Boston Red Sox with a season recored of 17-16 so far in the year with the win percentage at .515 and 5 games back behind the Yankees and the Orioles. In the last 2 spots in this division is the Tampa Bay Rays with a season record at 17-20 with a win percentage at .459 and 7 Games Back. In the last position is the Toronto Blue Jays with a terrible record of 13-21 their win percentage is .382 and 9.5 Games Back. Toronto might have a chance if they want to make it in the postseason. They are a long way away from getting to the top of their division.

                                              




In the Al Central you have the Minnesota Twins leads their division with the the record of 17-14 and a win percentage of .548, the twins are having a better season than last year. Following the Twins is the Cleveland Indians (A.K.A The Tribe) with a record of 18-15 and a win percentage of .545. The Twins and Indians are tied for 1st. Next on the list you have the Detroit Tigers with the record of 17-16 and a win percentage of .515 and they are 1 Game Back of the Twins and Indians. In the 4th seat you have the Chicago White Sox with a terrible record of 15-17 and a win percentage of .469 and 2.5 Games Back. In the last seat you have the Kansas City Royals who won the World Series in 2015. The Royals have a record of 13-21 with a win percentage of .382 and they are 5.5 Games Back.
                                                   


Now leading the American League West starts of with the Houston Astros with the record of 24-11 and a win percentage of .686. Following the Astros the Seattle Mariners with the win percentage of .486 and only 7 Games Back from the Astros. In 3rd there is the Oakland Athletics with the the season record of 16-18 with a .471 wining percentage. The A's are only 7.5 games back. In the 4th seat of the AL West is the Los Angles Angles of Anaheim with the record of 17-20 and a win percentage of .459. The Angles are only 8 games back. In the last seat in the division is the Texas Rangers. The Rangers record is 16-20 and a win percentage of .444. They are 8.5 games back
                                                


Now looking in the National League East there is the Washington Nationals who are playing really good baseball right now. The Nationals have the season record at 22-12 and percentage of .647. In 2nd there is the New York Mets with the record of 16-17 and the win percentage of .485. The Mets are only 5.5 Games Back from the Nationals. In the middle of the division you got the Philadelphia Phillies with the record of 13-19 and the win percentage of .406. The Phillies are 8 Games Back of the Nationals. In the 4th seat there is the Miami Marlins with the season record of 13-20. The Marlins have a win percentage of .394 and they are 8.5 Games Back. In the last seat of this division the team that was in last all last year we have the Atlanta Braves. The Braves have a record of 11-20 and the the win percentage of .355. They are only 9.5 Games Back.
                                                

In the National League Central to start of is the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals have a win percentage of 19-14 and a win percentage of .576. Behind the Cardinals we have the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds have been playing better than last year, so far the Reds have the record of 19-15 and a win percentage of .559 and only 0.5 Games Back. In the middle of the division the division you have the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers have a record of 18-17 with the win percentage of .514. They are only 2 Games Back. Trailing the Brewers is the 2016 World Series winning team the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs have a record of 17-17 and a win percentage of 500. The Cubs are 2.5 Games Back from the top. In last is the Pittsburgh Pirates with the record of 14-21. The Pirates have a win percentage of .400 and they are 6 Games Back.
                                
As we go to the west coast in the National League the Colorado Rockies are number 1 in their division. The Rockies are 23-13 with a win percentage of .639. In 2nd there is the Los Angles Dodgers with a record of 20-15, the Dodgers win percentage is .571 and they are 2.5 Games Back of the Rockies. In 3rd is the Arizona Diamond-Backs with a record if 20-16. The D'Backs have a win percentage of .556 and 3 Games Back. In the 4th seat is the San Diego Padres with a record of 13-23 and a win percentage of .361. The Padres are 10 Games Back from the top of the division. In last there is the San Francisco Giants with the worst record of 12-24. The Giants have a win percentage of .333 and they are 11 Games Back.

                                                                           

The places I want to go to and why I want to go there

The first place I want to go to is the Grand Canyon because it looks like a peaceful place to be. The Grand Canyon is located in the state of Arizona in the United States. The reason why I want to go there is because it was created by a glacier and it also one of Americas landmarks.













The next place I want to go to is in oklahoma because of historic Route 66. Route 66 has been part of the United States for so long and it is well known in the movie Cars. There is a lot of great scenery on route 66. Route 66 is one of the oldest routes in the Untied States.








I would also go to Nashville because there is a country music museum there and they have alot on Hank Williams Sr. Hank Williams Sr is one of the best traditional country music singers during his time. I love country music especially the older songs. One of my Hank Williams songs is, "Your Cheatin Hart"





In the same Nashville museum they have some things in Hank Williams son Hank Williams Jr. Hank Jr was a little like his father but he did modernize his music. This museum is the perfect museum for me because I would go there and learn a lot about my country music heroes and  idols. Hank Williams Jr is that one of the few country singers that actually sing with Waylon Jennings.
