What I learned from WWII and the Holocaust during the year 1944

What I learned was in 1944  London got hit by a V2 Rocket. I also learned that German troops surrendered in Calais and Boulogne. During July 17th of 1944 a pilot tried to bomb Hitler.
79 German prisoners escaped because of the war going on. German allies invade Normandy
Ann Frank was also captured by the Nazis during the holocaust. Hitler orders that Germany withdraws from Rome. The Russians take the final attack on the Germans in WWII.
